The programme has been redisigned to create a more modern, comprehensive, and clinically oriented program, while maintaining the original syllabus to ensure continuity without requiring a full restructuring of the project.
 
The new structure is divided into four progressive modules:
 
Part I – Introduction to oncological surgery, general lymph node surgery, head and neck
This section provides a comprehensive introduction to surgical oncology, addressing gaps identified in the previous curriculum. It strengthens both clinical and operational knowledge, with a strong focus on head and neck oncology surgery and extensive cadaver-based practical training.
 
Part II – Surgery of skin and subcutaneous tumors and bone
This module explores skin and bone neoplasms in depth. Emphasis is placed on oncologic principles, particularly surgical margins and defect reconstruction strategies. A significant portion is dedicated to bone tumors and reconstructive techniques, reflecting current advancements and relevance in oncology surgery.
 
Part III – Abdominal and Perineal Tumors
This course focuses on abdominal and perineal malignancies, offering extensive hands-on training to consolidate surgical skills.
 
Part IV – Surgery of Intrathoracic Tumors and Genitourinary System
The final module provides detailed coverage of thoracic and genitourinary cancers. The program concludes with advanced cadaver-based clinical case development. On the final afternoon, participants will present and discuss clinical cases collected throughout the course, demonstrating the knowledge and competencies acquired.
